With this decision, the mentioned Rulebook on the Dynamics of Replacing Fiscal Systems in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina ( shortened: FBIH ) is put out of force.
In order to properly and clearly inform the public and taxpayers, the Tax authorities want to emphasize that the mentioned Rulebook was a measure to combat tax evasion by gradually replacing obsolete devices with new devices. This is in line with the collection of public revenues and fiscal stability of the FBiH, but this obligation was unjustifiably presented as an additional levy for businessmen according to the words of the Minister of Finance of this country.
As a reminder, in September 2021, The Ministry of Finance of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina had published the Rulebook on the dynamics of replacement of fiscal systems in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In this Rulebook Ministry in FBIH had explained the criteria and deadlines in terms of replacing currently used fiscal systems, with the general criteria for the replacement of fiscal systems being the year of initial fiscalization.
The previous plan was to replace one-third of the fiscal cash registers by the middle of 2022, and the rest in the next two years. However, for now, it is certain that the whole process will be prolonged and that the new deadlines are yet undefined.
