The newest schedule of the critical dates for the interconnection of cash registers with EFT-POS and tax mechanisms includes:
- By the end of this year, the decision will be issued to change the operating specifications of the other F.H.M. so that they too operate as "closed-type" mechanisms like tax cash registers - and that no intervention is possible to falsify the data of the receipts issued to consumers;
- From January 10th, 2019 to March 31st, 2023, small and medium businesses that have cash registers and POS will be able to submit their applications to receive the vouchers in order to upgrade their cash registers according to the new requirements;
- From April 1st to May 31st, 2023, it is planned to connect the upgraded cash registers with the mentioned POS element of all the small and medium businesses that will have received the vouchers;
- From June 1st, 2023 until August 31st, 2023, small and medium-sized businesses that have other electronic tax mechanisms will submit applications to receive vouchers in order to replace the mechanisms with a new type that will be able to interface with the POS.
- From the 1st of September 2023 to the 30th of November 2023, it is planned to carry out the interconnection of the other, not yet connected F.H.M. with the POS.
