Reminder and guideline

Two years have passed since the introduction of the E-kasa project, the taxpayers must exchange the authentication data (AU) recorded in the online cash register. Following this necessity, the Financial Administration has been sending the alerts for this software update. The taxpayers can make the necessary change even before the compulsory exchange of the data must be performed.

Taxpayers who use online cash registers must change the authentication data two years after the implementation of the project. This gradual change is mainly based on the protective measure for sending the data to the E-kasa system. This is free of charge update.

The validity of the authentication data, which is essential for the registration of the sales is two years from their issuance. The online cash register will in an automatic way notify the entrepreneur of the data exchange 30 days before their expiry.

The taxpayer can apply for the new authentication data on the Financial Administration portal in the E-Kasa zone.

The other solution is a simple exchange of the AU 30 days before they will expire.
