A new way to log into FinanzOnline (Austria)
Summary
From May 5th, the entry of participant identification (TID) and user identification (BENID) will be replaced by a unique user name that you can choose yourself and that is different from all other user names. From this day on, users will be prompted to choose an easy-to-remember user name when they log in for the first time.

The access data, which previously consisted of a long combination of letters and numbers, were often forgotten and had to be reissued. This not only caused additional work for the tax office but above all for the users. Now it will be easier to log in with a unique user name that users can choose themselves and an already valid PIN.
