Technical
iThe Technical section provides practical information on how fiscal, e-invoicing, e-reporting and other compliance requirements apply to POS, ERP, middleware and other business systems. This section may include details on technical integrations, data formats, communication with tax authorities, fiscal devices, electronic documents, archiving, offline mode, certification and mandatory system functionalities. Its purpose is to give users clear and implementation-oriented guidance for operation in a specific country.

Highlight
The Republic of Srpska became a fiscal country in 2007, by combining hardware and software fiscalization model. The convertible mark (KM) is the currency of the Republic of Srpska.

According to the updated fiscal regulations in the Republic of Srpska, every retail store is obliged to record each individual turnover using certified electronic fiscal devices. This obligation applies to all forms of payment recognized by the new Law and every store must be officially registered with the Tax Administration through an electronic process, which results in the generation of a unique identifier for each business location. Additionally, the new law mandates that each POS (Point of Sale) application and its components—both software and hardware—must undergo a strict certification process before being used in practice.
