With the email sent by the Independent Authority to hundreds of businesses, it calls on them within ten days upon receiving the notification to send the necessary retail sales data, as otherwise they will be asked to pay high fines, and they will also be faced with being locked up. AADE has sent a new ultimatum to all businesses that have not yet submitted to myDATA the details of retail sales receipts issued by cash registers to comply within 10 days, with the recommendation for it to be as fast as possible in less time.

Each cash register from which retail data has not been transmitted to AADE is detailed in the email. Those who continue to not transmit to AADE the data of the retail sales receipts are faced with fines ranging from 250 to 1,000 euros and a lockout ranging from 48 hours to 10 days. In cases of late compliance, the relevant sanctions are imposed only for the period after the expiration of the 10-day period and until the date of compliance .

The existing regime provides that businesses should send the details of their retail sales, within 24 hours from the issuance of the tax item to the electronic application of AADE E-send (The TA server application). Catering businesses, for example, must send them every 3 hours, while gas stations must send them every hour, though these frequencies are subject to change.
