New regulations for cash register requirements in Poland

Some changes in cash register regulation have been presented in Poland. It is a word about two cash register regulations: Regulation-Ordinance of the Ministry of Development and Technology in Poland on March 2, 2023, amending the Regulation in technical requirements for cash registers that entered into force on March 16, 2023, and the Minister of Finance's Ordinance of March 3, 2023, amending the Regulation of the Minister of Finance of April 29, 2019 on cash registers.

From the fiscalization perspective, it is important to state that mostly these changes refer to special purpose cash registers, which, among other things, have a major impact on automatic sales devices-vending machines. In these regulations, we can find main requirements in terms of obligation—what is mandatory and what is not mandatory to be produced via cash registers, presented on display, etc. Differentiation is made in the terms "cash register that contain printers or not. Also, because of this, general regulation for the cash register requires certain changes, some of which are in relation to cash registers for the automatic sale of goods and some of which refer to online cash registers.
