New Consumer Protection Rules Based on Draft Law in the Republic of Srpska

The upcoming Consumer Protection Law in the Republic of Srpska is set to introduce mandatory issuance of pro forma invoices (“Predračun”) for services over 100 KM, particularly affecting stores offering repairs or maintenance. Traders will need to obtain written consumer consent before providing such services, and issue the invoice using an electronic fiscal device, clearly labelled as “THIS IS NOT A FISCAL RECEIPT.”
