The Danish authorities have announced a new update to the Nemhandelsregister (NHR), covering several key components of the Nemhandel infrastructure, including NHR Core, NHR API, NHR SMP, and NHR PoRS.

Nemhandel is Denmark’s national digital infrastructure for secure electronic invoicing and business document exchange, enabling companies and public authorities to send and receive e-invoices and other structured documents in a standardized, Peppol-compatible format.

The update was deployed in the demo environment on 19 November 2025.
If the rollout proceeds as expected, the update will be released to the production environment on 26 November 2025.

During the deployment phase, short-term operational disruptions may occur, the authority warns.

The release introduces several enhancements aimed at improving operational stability and system security. One of the notable fixes is:

-       UAN-6122: The validator in profiled and aggregated services now correctly handles overlapping profiles and no longer rejects valid submissions.

These improvements are expected to increase the reliability of the Nemhandel network for all users.

Authorities confirmed that no actions or technical adjustments are required from market participants as a result of this release.
