Serbia has published the draft version of the Law on amendments to the Law on electronic document, electronic identification and trust services in electronic business

The Ministry has published the draft version of the Law on amendments to the Law on an electronic document, electronic identification, and trust services in electronic business which is open to public discussion and which later on should be defined through the final version. The draft version of the law is published on 12th February. Guided by the necessity of the legal framework in question, concerning e-commerce, the Ministry has proceeded with making and publishing the draft version of the amendments of the regulation which was adopted 4 years ago.

The necessity for making necessary corrections and elevating the awareness for the e-business was among others upgrading the quality of the electronic signatures, expanding their usage, and elevating the quality of the electronic certificates issued for the e-businesses.
