The Porezna uprava and Carinska uprava have announced intensified fiscalization inspections during the upcoming Easter holidays. Authorized officials of the Ministry of Finance, Tax Administration, and Customs Administration will carry out enhanced controls focused on monitoring the issuance and recording of fiscal receipts.

The increased supervision will begin during the Easter holiday period and continue across the entire territory of Croatia. These activities aim to ensure full compliance with fiscalization obligations among businesses operating in the retail and service sectors.

In addition to monitoring the proper issuance and recording of receipts, authorities will also verify the correctness and compliance of software solutions used for fiscalizing cash transactions. Businesses are therefore advised to ensure that their fiscal systems are fully compliant with applicable regulations to avoid potential penalties.
