The extension applies to the SPT Tahunan PPh Badan (Annual Corporate Income Tax Return). It follows requests from around 4,000 companies, tax consultants, and business groups, as well as reported technical issues with the Coretax filing platform.

Importantly, the extension applies only to the filing deadline. The payment deadline for PPh Pasal 29 corporate tax remains unchanged, although the tax authority is still considering whether payment terms should also be adjusted.

By the original deadline, approximately 12.7 million tax returns had been submitted, representing 84% of the 15 million target. Individual taxpayer deadlines remain unaffected.
