Turkey’s Revenue Administration has published version 1.8 of the Electronic Archive Application Guide, dated May 2026.
The main update is the addition of the e-Expense voucher to the scope of the e-Archive application. This means the guide now covers e-Archive Invoice, e-SMM, e-MM, e-Bank slip, e-Foreign exchange and precious metal purchase/sale documents, e-Order slip, e-Insurance Commission Expense Document, and e-Expense voucher.
The guide also introduces stricter requirements for taxpayers using their own IT system integration. Taxpayers applying through the direct integration method must now provide ISO certificates issued by institutions accredited by the certification body (TÜRKAK). These include ISO 27001 for information security, ISO 22301 for business continuity, and ISO 20000 for IT service management.
The same TÜRKAK-approved ISO certificate requirement also applies to private integrators that already have or want to obtain e-Archive private integration authorization.
The update does not radically change the e-Archive system, but it expands its scope and strengthens technical compliance requirements. Businesses using direct integration and private integrators should review their ISO certificates and test documentation to ensure they meet the new TÜRKAK-accreditation requirements.
