Austria Plans Tax Office Restructure from January 2027
Austria plans to reorganise its Tax Office from January 1, 2027.
The Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance announced that the structure of the Austrian Tax Office will be changed to better meet current operational needs.
The goal is to improve management, simplify internal communication, and make the organisation more flexible.
Under the new structure, Austria will have 22 offices responsible for general tax matters and one nationwide office for specialised tasks.
According to the Ministry of Finance, this change should help create a more efficient and adaptable tax administration for the future.
