Sending invoices via e-mail in Austria

In Austria, taxpayers are allowed to send an invoice electronically by email, as an email attachment, web download, PDF, or text file, as a scanned paper invoice or as a faxed invoice to another taxpayer, or to transmit to another taxpayer. The prerequisite is that the recipient of the service agrees to this type of invoice.
