DFKA presented the results of both members of the Association, such as manufacturers, specialist dealers and consultants, and other manufacturers and dealers in the sector.

The previous conversion rate is estimated to have been an average of 71%, with some claiming that their customers have already completely converted. The conclusion is that the conversion rate is above the last survey from the end of February 2021.

The value of the estimate of the share of customers who have not yet commissioned a change is 25%. The DFKA recommends these cash register users take care of conversion or upgrade. Only with a legally compliant cash register system, including a certified TSE, users can protect themselves from high fines and tax estimates. According to 56% of those surveyed, the main reason for delays in retrofitting remains that customers have not yet ordered a retrofit.
