Anti-fraud campaign in Romania

Romanian General Directorate for Fiscal Anti-fraud created a new e-mail address, which is amef.dgaf@anaf.ro. This email address is intended for sending notifications regarding violations of the legislation on the specific field of electronic fiscal cash registers.

Penalties which could be imposed for these kinds of violations are very high for taxpayers in Romania, and they are prescribed in the range from 2,000 RON (approx. 400 EUR) to 30,000 RON (approx. 6,000 EUR), depending on the seriousness of the offense.
