Multiple inspections performed in the area of Central Bosnian Canton

The Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH - Cantonal Tax Office Novi Travnik has carried out 32 partial inspections (the so-called actions) in the area of Central Bosnian Canton on the 3rd of November. This control included taxpayers who perform the activity of catering (restaurants, cafes), trade and gambling.

 The controls were carried out in the municipalities of Travnik, Novi Travnik, Vitez, Bugojno, Gornji Vakuf and Donji Vakuf, and the controls aimed to verify compliance with the Law on Fiscal Systems and the employment of illegal workers.

 In these controls, Tax Administration inspectors have found 24 taxpayers who did not record turnover through fiscal devices and 7 taxpayers who did not pay contributions according to the regulations. Out of the controlled 16 taxpayers of the organizers of games of chance, in 14 cases it was determined that the turnover through fiscal devices was not recorded according to the law.

 Due to established irregularities: employment of unregistered workers, non-payment of contributions and non-recording of turnover through the fiscal device - 45 misdemeanor orders were issued with a total of fines in the amount of 93,700.00 KM (approx. 47.800 Eur)

 The Tax Administration will continue inspection activities to control the compliance of taxpayers' operations and prevent the gray economy in the upcoming period and will be issuing calls on taxpayers who have been found to have irregularities to harmonize their operations and comply with the mentioned regulation in order not to be exposed to sanctions and unnecessary costs.
