Jurisdiction of Kosovo is fiscal territory since 2010. It operates a hardware-based fiscalization system under which the issuance of fiscal receipts is mandatory. While POS application does not require certification, a communication with the Tax Authority is required.
Jurisdiction of Kosovo
Fiscalization requirements for Jurisdiction of Kosovo are governed by a separate fiscal jurisdiction with its own legislation and technical rules. Both legal and technical requirements for fiscal devices in Kosovo are separately defined, whereas fiscal devices must comply with the rules applicable in the Kosovo fiscal jurisdiction, including certification, reporting, and data-exchange requirements. The requirements are applied independently of other jurisdictions and do not imply any position on political or state status.
