According to the updated fiscal regulations in the Republic of Srpska, every retail store is obliged to record each individual turnover using certified electronic fiscal devices. This obligation applies to all forms of payment recognized by the new Law and every store must be officially registered with the Tax Administration through an electronic process, which results in the generation of a unique identifier for each business location. Additionally, the new law mandates that each POS (Point of Sale) application and its components—both software and hardware—must undergo a strict certification process before being used in practice.
