Summary of the latest changes regarding fiscalization delays in Portugal

Because of the situation caused by Covid-19, there have been several changes, ie the postponement of mandatory requirements of certain requirements related to fiscalization.

In short, that apply for:
- QR Code mandatory to be present from January 1st, 2022;
- ATCUD code mandatory to be present on invoice delayed to January 1st, 2023;
- PDF e-invoices will be allowed until July 2022 (beside electronic invoice)
- SAF-T Accounting is mandatory from January 1st, 2022.
