TSE and Cash registers: Reminder

Certain cash registers may exceptionally be operated without a so-called technical security device (TSE) until the end of 2022. These are cash registers that were purchased after November 25, 2010, and before January 1, 2020, meet certain requirements and which, due to their design, cannot be upgraded with a TSE.
You have to prove to the tax office that the cash register meets the requirements. For example, through written confirmation from the cash register manufacturer.
This exemption does not apply to PC POS systems, which have to be connected to a TSE device.
