Republika Srpska starts with the preparations for the introduction of a new fiscalization system

She announced that new fiscal cash registers and receipts with a QR code could realistically be expected in 2023. The Deputy Finance Minister also noted some of the main differences between the old and the new upcoming system and they are as follows.
The existing system works by storing daily receipts in the memory of the fiscal device and creating daily reports from that memory, which are sent to the Tax Administration. So, it is the taxpayer who controls the sending. In the new system, this sending will not depend on the human factor, and the information on the turnover will be more detailed, including the items on the receipt that will be visible, which is not the case now.
Also, the tax inspector has so far had to be competent in the fiscalization of each cash register, which will not be necessary now, because everything is automated.
The control must be easier for consumers as well because by scanning the QR code they will be able to see if the turnover is registered with the Tax Administration or not.
According to the new information, there will be a change in how the data is communicated to the Tax Administration. Regarding this topic, for now, it is known that, unlike existing cash registers which send data via GPS signals, the new ones will send them over the Internet.
