Legal entities in Romania can pay their tax and budgetary obligations by bank card!

Thus, this new provision is the result of the publication in the Official Gazette no. 102 of February 1st, 2022 of the Order of the Minister of Finance no. 94/2022 on fiscal and budgetary obligations that can be paid through bank cards at POS terminals installed at the territorial units of the State Treasury.
In this sense, both individuals and legal entities will be able to pay the mentioned amounts, through bank cards at POS terminals installed at the headquarters of the State Treasury units as well as in the case where their payment is made to single accounts.
We mention that, previously, only individuals could pay by card and only for certain tax obligations that were administered for tax purposes based on the personal numerical code number.
