What is TicketBAI?
This new system will allow the Provincial Treasuries to control the income of their economic activities and, especially, of those activities that have final consumers as clients.
In general: The software that issues invoices must comply with the technical requirements defined by the Basque Government and the Provincial Treasuries. Type of device for issuing invoices/receipts not defined-but needs to fulfill certain requirements. To be compliant with TicketBAI requirements in general, taxpayers must have:
- Approved (certified) billing software
- Digital certificate installed on the device to identify where the taxpayer will issue invoices/receipts from
- Device for issuing invoices/receipts (computer, tablet, cash register, POS ...)
Invoices/receipts can be in digital or printable PDF format.
