In terms of new communication with the Tax authorities in the new system, there are important changes in this regard. Existing cash registers are sending data via GPS signals, and new ones will send them over the Internet. Of course, the question is what if there is no internet in the store? The devices that are predicted, in the technical sense will be able to work without the Internet for some time, thanks to the envisioned local processor of the fiscal receipts as one of their elements.
So, at the moment of scanning the QR code, the Tax Administration receives the data on the turnover, which is the most important thing. The only thing that the tax authorities will not receive if the internet connection is interrupted, is the data on the items, which in that case will arrive later.
Detailed information regarding the topic of transferring data, elements and functioning of the expected new fiscal devices and other elements of the new model will be announced in the upcoming months, according to the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Srpska.
