According to the latest announcements in Poland, The Ministry of Finance is working on solutions that postpone by 2.5 years the obligation for entrepreneurs to ensure cooperation between online cash registers and payment terminals - as of January 1, 2025.
Also, until the end of 2024, an administrative penalty of PLN 5,000 will not be applied.

Let us remind you, according to regulations - from July 2022, entrepreneurs would be obliged to ensure the cooperation of online cash registers with payment terminals, in accordance with the technical requirements for cash registers. In order to meet the expectations of entrepreneurs, in connection with technical problems signaled by business, the Minister of Finance decided to postpone the date of the obligation to integrate online registers with payment terminals. It is important to mention that the Minister of Finance is working on establishing a substitute obligation to report information on non-cash payments.
