Croatia one step closer to introducing the euro as an official currency
Following Croatia's accession to the European Exchange Rate Mechanism II (ERM II) on 10 July 2020, the government has committed itself to implementing a series of reforms through the Action Plan.
According to the Croatian Prime Minister, all the necessary activities in all relevant areas were undertaken and all relevant departments achieved set goals by the deadline which was March 31, 2022.
"I think we are giving another message to the credibility of our reform efforts so that final decisions on Croatia's membership in the eurozone can be made in the middle of this year, in June and July," the Prime Minister said.
