The amount of debt or tax refund in Croatia will be expressed in kuna and euro
However, in Croatia, from September, if the euro is introduced according to the planned dynamics, it will be mandatory to dually display the amounts on tax decisions that will be issued in that period. The Tax Authority will state the amounts on the decisions so that only the total amount of debt or repayment will be stated in both kuna and euros, indicating a fixed conversion rate, and all other amounts will be expressed in kuna. Throughout 2023, the total amount of debt or repayments will also be shown in both currencies, but all other amounts will be expressed in euros.
