Croatia has met all the criteria for joining the eurozone
Both, Prime Minister and Executive Vice President stated that the European Commission's assessments of their convergence report, which refers to Croatia and other countries that are not yet in the eurozone, speak very favorably of the effort of Croatia to meet all criteria for joining the eurozone.
Vice President of the European Commission Vladis Dombrovskis congratulated the Croatian leadership and citizens on an impressive achievement, emphasizing that report by the European Commission and the European Central Bank marks a historic moment for Croatia and the eurozone.
The Prime Minister reminded that from September 5 there is an obligation to double the prices, emphasizing that the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, the Association for Consumer Protection with a special role and the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and HUP, and believe that the media will monitor the situation with prices so that there would be no unjustified increase in prices in the period of the kuna exchange rate.
