The tax auditors will carry out on-site audits with a tablet, through which they will have direct access to the profile of the auditees and will automatically issue a note with the results of the audit. They will also be able to check at the same time the receipts issued by the companies. The relevant checks i.e controls are expected to take place during the summer months.

The audit will be done through the QR code as well and the auditor will be able to check the authenticity of the receipts issued by the companies and if they have been passed to the systems of AADE.

The following are taken as minimum possible indications of violation:

  • The receipt has not been sent
  • The receipt has been sent with different details than required
  • The cash register is not registered or is inactive
  • The cash register is declared with other business details (TIN, address).
