Postponement of the obligatory use of cash registers in car washes and other similar services in Poland

According to the Ordinance of the Minister of Finance of December 22, 2021, on exemptions from the obligation to keep sales records using cash registers (Journal of Laws item 2442), from July 1 this year, the obligation to record sales with the use of cash registers for services in the car wash industry was imposed. This applies to washing, cleaning cars and other similar services, including using customer-operated equipment. These postpones will give entrepreneurs additional time to purchase and install fiscal devices before October 1, 2022. Legislative work is underway to amend the regulation.
