The campaign in Montenegro starts "Račun zadrži Crnu Goru podrži"
Namely, the campaign aims to remind citizens that they can easily, at any time, check whether their receipt is correct, ie whether the receipt issued during the trade is verified through the fiscal service and whether the realized turnover, in which the VAT has already been included, is indeed registered in the UPC. This can be done by simply scanning the QR code.
It was emphasized that the mere fact that the receipt contains a QR code is not a guarantee that it is valid. For this reason, it is necessary to perform a check via the application.
The Revenue and Customs Administration is working in three strategic directions in terms of increasing the level of fiscal discipline - education of taxpayers, inspection supervision, and collection of tax liabilities.
During the season, controls on the territory of Montenegro will be intensified, and the emphasis will be on taxpayers who perform seasonal activities.
