Albania changes the status of invoices

From August 10th, 2022, invoices that have the “submitted” status will automatically switch to the “accepted” status
The Tax Administration has informed the taxpayers that new developments in the fiscalization system have been made.
This development has an impact on all the taxpayers who have not yet taken any action of accepting or rejecting electronic invoices.

Namely, all invoices that appear with the status "Submitted" mean that no action has been taken on them. Due to the recent development, the status of “Submitted” invoices will automatically change to the status "Accepted".
These developments go into motion from August 10th, 2022.
The GDT (General Directorate of Taxation) requires all taxpayers to carry out all relevant verifications for purchasing invoices, as the moment of switching to the live environment will lead to automatic acceptance of these invoices.
