Pre-supply contract for securing the euro

Intermediate pre-supply can start on September 1, 2022, for euro banknotes and October 1, 2022, for euro coins at the earliest. One month before the official introduction of the euro, banks and their authorized representatives (Fina and/or Croatian Post) will supply businesses and consumers with initial packages of euro coins free of charge.
At the earliest, five days before the day of introduction of the euro, banks will be able to carry out the so-called simplified intermediate pre-supply in which business entities will pre-supply cash of up to 10,000 euros, of course, again with the application of a fixed conversion rate and in accordance with the rules for conversion and rounding. Only micro-business entities will have the right to participate in this procedure, i.e. individuals and legal entities that have an average of fewer than ten employees and whose annual business income/or total assets do not exceed two million euros. A prerequisite for the start of simplified intermediate pre-supply is that the micro-business entity previously signs a declaration on simplified intermediate pre-supply.
Banks will perform indirect pre-supply, as well as simplified intermediate pre-supply, for their clients without a fee for processing and disbursing cash, and banks with which the client does not have a business account will be able to charge the fee.
