New version of the Virtual Cash Register in Slovakia

The Tax Administration of the Slovak Republic has launched a new version of the Virtual Cash Register – VRP 2. Virtual cash register 2 (VRP 2) is a new free application for recording sales that entrepreneurs can use. The new version is compliant with the new rules the aim of which is to limit the circulation of one-cent and two-cent coins in Slovakia.

If entrepreneurs set their prices in such a way that they are not subject to rounding, they can also temporarily use the original VRP - Cash register application. However, it will only be valid for a limited time, so it is recommended entrepreneurs to start using VRP 2 as soon as possible.
The new application is available to entrepreneurs on the Google Play distribution platform. It will work on Android 5 and above and also through supported web browsers. VRP 2 will not be available for iOS devices yet. Users can use the web interface, where a responsive design has been incorporated. Cash documents will be able to print in A4, A5, A6 format or use one of the drivers available on the market for printing on the relevant mobile printer.
