The period of dual display of prices in Croatia is about to come!

Having that in mind here are key facts that every retailer has to know:

1. Obligation to dually display prices applies exclusively to direct relations with consumers;
2. The retail sector plays a key role in collecting and withdrawing kuna banknotes and coins;
3. Prices must be displayed both in kuna and euro;
4. Dual displaying does not include trade agreements between business entities (B2B);
5. Dual displaying of prices is mandatory for all forms of sale;
6. Fixed conversion rate (FCR) must be stated at all times;
7. It is mandatory to dually display the total amount on receipts with stating the FCR;
8. Until January 1, 2023, the euro will not be accepted as official currency, meaning that you will be able to accept payment in euro but only as a foreign currency;
9. This period will last until December 31, 2023, meaning that it will not end once the euro becomes the official currency in Croatia;
10. XML scheme will not change;
