Fiscal subject related
In the electronic file of approximately 4.7 million taxpayers who have debts to the tax office, the AADE is proceeding with the activation of the Eispraxis system. Eispraxis will have the possibility to cross-check the debts and data of taxpayers from all of the information systems of AADE, Taxis, Taxisnet, Icisnet, and Elenxis , as well as from third parties such as the land registry, credit institutions, notaries, the Stock Exchange, "Ergani,", GEMI.
As planned, an electronic file for each debt will be created with immediate and real-time information retrieval. Thus, the system will be able to obtain information on the repayment process, compliance or non-compliance with the regulations, as well as the actions and measures taken by the collection authorities.
At the same time, in addition to the debtor, the other parties involved in the debt will be monitored (co-obligors, guarantors, legal representatives, associated companies, interconnected groups, as well as absorption mergers). At the same time, when the new system is implemented, the relevant notices for the imposition of confiscations on deposits, income, and assets of taxpayers who do not pay their debts to the state on time will be sent.
Shipments will be made in bulk and automatically whenever a tax payment deadline expires. If there is no movement from the debtor within a certain period of time, then the system will activate the process of sending an electronic seizure to all banks to freeze and seize the amount of the debt from the balances of the debtor's bank accounts, so that the state does not waste any time in claiming debts.
With this newly introduced information system:
- Debt cases will be classified according to a set of criteria (debtor name, amount owed, time period of case delay, date of the last action, and so on).
- Risk analysis criteria will be applied, and enforcement actions will be taken based on the debtor's behavior and notices and reminders of the proposed actions.
- Taxpayers will be informed by letter, e-mail, phone, or another alternative communication channel about their confirmed debts, compliance or non-compliance with the regulations, and about the electronic performances and notifications of forced collection measures.
