VAT reductions in Spain in 2023
Summary
Changes in the VAT section have been introduced in Spain. The Spanish government announced a new package of inflation-relief measures. They will reduce the VAT on certain goods. It is important to state that reduced rates will be applied from January 1, 2023, to June 30, 2023.
Content
VAT changes occure in:
- Basic foods (milk, bread, fruit, vegetables, etc.) are reduced from 4% to 0%.
- Oil and pasta: reduced from 10% to 5%
