Exceptions to no receipt printing in effect in France

In an effort to curb environmental impacts and reduce paper waste, France has introduced a new regulation restricting receipt printing for businesses. However, this measure comes with certain exceptions to accommodate specific situations. As of August 1st, 2023, businesses and consumers will have to abide by the new rules outlined in articles D541-371 of the environmental code.
