The NAV publishes the first version of developer documentation and XSD schemes for e-cash registers in the eReceipt system in Hungary

The Hungarian Tax Authority, i.e., the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV), has published the first developer documentation of the e-cash registers to be introduced in the eReceipt system, as well as the XSD schemes associated with them.
The NAV pays special attention to ensuring that developers can get acquainted with and comment on the detailed technical requirements related to the system of e-cash registers to be introduced in time. Therefore, it has made it accessible to everyone on the most well-known developer platform.
Content
The purpose of the developer documentation is to introduce the services of e-cash registers and the related XML message structures. The documentation also describes the customer application features and their message structure.
The published documentation is a working document that reflects the situation as of October 2023, and its content is subject to change based on developer feedback and the regulation on e-cash registers undergoing technical notification and potential changes.
