Postponement of the obligation to integrate the cash register with the payment terminal in Poland

The Ministry of Finance in Poland introduced some postponements of certain obligations. Namely, the obligation to integrate the cash register with the payment terminal has been postponed. More precisely, due to technical problems reported by businesses, the Minister of Finance decided to postpone the deadline for the obligation to integrate online cash registers with payment terminals until the end of 2024.

The postponement of the established obligation from July 1, 2022, to January 1, 2025 also means that fines of PLN 5,000 will not be applied to entrepreneurs during this period. PLN for having non-integrated devices. The deadline was postponed pursuant to Art. 20 point 4 letter d of the Act of June 8, 2022, amending certain acts in order to automate the handling of certain matters by the National Tax Administration (Journal of Laws, item 1301).
