Brazil: Minas Gerais Requires Accreditation of Software Used by Fuel Retailers (Gas Stations)

The State Finance Secretariat of Minas Gerais (SEF/MG) has published Ordinance SRE No. 277, dated December 9, 2025. The new rule requires software companies that provide systems for issuing Electronic Invoices (NF-e) and digital fiscal receipts (NFC-e) to be officially accredited when their systems are used by fuel retail businesses, such as gas stations.
