General information
The Public Revenue Office has announced ongoing progress on its “e-Invoice” project, confirming that the system is currently in the testing phase, including API integrations with business invoicing systems.
Authorities are urging companies, especially software providers and businesses with adaptable invoicing systems, to join testing as soon as possible to ensure timely readiness before mandatory implementation.
At the same time, the Tax Authority (PRO) has issued a warning to businesses about third-party providers offering training or consulting services related to the project. It clarified that only official guidance published by the TA (PRO) should be used, and that it does not take responsibility for external interpretations.
To support implementation, designated tax agents are already assisting companies with onboarding and system usage. Additionally, the TA (PRO) announced that manual invoice entry via web and client applications will soon be available, targeting smaller businesses without advanced invoicing systems.
All official information and updates are available through PRO communication channels, and businesses are encouraged to direct inquiries through the designated e-Invoice contact point
