North Macedonia’s Tax Authority has prolonged the temporary reduced VAT rate of 10% on certain fuel products. The measure, originally set to expire on April 6, will now remain in force until April 20, 2026.

It applies to selected fuel products and businesses selling motor fuels and lubricants. The reduced rate remains at 10%.

Businesses must:

-      Continue applying the reduced VAT rate,

-      Ensure it is correctly reflected in prices and invoices.

The extension provides short-term relief by maintaining lower VAT on fuel, while requiring businesses to continue full compliance in pricing and invoicing.
