Electronic fees portal opened for EV charging operations
Merchants operating electric car charging stations must now begin transmitting data to the Revenue Agency. Starting June 3, 2026, entities involved in electric vehicle charging operations in Italy can officially register via the reserved area of the Invoices and Fees portal. Companies are now able to register their Energy Servers directly within the portal’s secure area.
The dedicated channel for submitting invoices electronically will go live on June 23, 2026, providing a faster and more transparent process. Detailed guidance and assistance are available through the Info and Assistance pages on the Revenue Agency portal.
Important deadlines:
· Receipts from January–May 2026: merchants have 45 days to submit these, with a final deadline of August 6, 2026.
· Receipts from June 2026: standard deadlines apply. Data must be sent by the end of the following month — in this case, July 30, 2026.
Registration takes place in the Invoices and Fees section of the Revenue Agency portal.
Operators must first register, either directly or through an intermediary, and then enter data about their charging stations.
