UAE Opens Accreditation Service for eInvoicing Service Providers

The UAE Ministry of Finance has launched an online accreditation service for eInvoicing providers wishing to operate in the country. Applicants must meet Peppol, technical, experience, registration, tax, security and insurance requirements and submit supporting documents through the Ministry’s website using UAE Pass. The accreditation process includes document checks, technical assessment and compliance testing.

The UAE Ministry of Finance has launched an online service that allows eInvoicing service providers to apply for official accreditation. Accreditation is required for providers that want to offer eInvoicing solutions and related services to businesses in the UAE. The process includes document verification, technical assessment and testing to confirm compliance with the UAE eInvoicing framework.

Applicants must meet several conditions, including being an active Peppol-certified provider, passing OpenPeppol conformance testing and having at least two years of experience operating an electronic invoicing system.They must also comply with company registration, tax registration, information security, insurance and self-declaration requirements.

Required documents include a trade licence, proof of paid-up capital, UAE corporate tax registration, evidence of eInvoicing experience, Peppol documentation, security certificates and technical system information.
