Slovakia’s Financial Administration will hold a series of free regional conferences on electronic invoicing throughout September 2026, as businesses and other organizations prepare for the country’s new e-invoicing requirements.

Seven conferences will take place between September 7 and September 30, 2026, covering the Žilina, Trenčín, Prešov, Košice, Trnava, Nitra and Banská Bystrica regions. Interest has been high, with more than half of the 1,900 available places already reserved shortly after registration opened.

The events will focus primarily on practical implementation of eFaktura, including new obligations, technical options and specific implementation scenarios. Financial Administration experts covering taxation, IT, digitalization and fraud prevention will answer questions directly from businesses, accountants, sole traders, public authorities, NGOs and other affected organizations.

The conferences form part of the Financial Administration’s broader preparation and education program ahead of Slovakia’s new e-invoicing framework. Businesses can also access webinars, practical guidance and FAQs and review available e-invoicing solutions and certified digital postmen.

Participation in the regional conferences is free of charge, but registration is required due to limited capacity.

What should businesses do to prepare for Slovakia’s e-invoicing requirements before 2027?

Businesses should review the Financial Administration’s e-invoicing guidance, assess their technical setup, select a certified digital postman, and use the September conferences to clarify practical implementation questions before the 2027 rollout.
