The project of the software fiscalization and e-invoicing in Bulgaria

The Minister of Finance in Bulgaria announced that the project of the software fiscalization and e-invoicing could start soon. Furthermore, the chairman of the Bulgarian Association for Business Software Development spoke about the importance of starting the project for the new type of fiscalization. He indicated that modern businesses need a new technological mechanism for communication with the tax authority.

It’s also mentioned that the pilot project for e-shops is almost completed.

The directions should be that the manufacturers of cash registers will if the project will be accepted, become the software fiscalizers and the two new projects, two alternatives the taxpayers will have more options to choose to be compliant with the tax regulations.

The idea at this point isn’t to eliminate from the market the fiscal cash registers and working in compliance with the N-18 Regulation but to introduce the alternative solution for the taxpayers.
