Finding a permanent and sustainable solution for the fiscalization of self-service vending machines in Montenegro
Summary
Montenegrin Vending Operators remind that the electronic fiscalization project is a state project and that they are not its opponents, but they strongly oppose a situation in which their companies would be put in an extremely unfavorable situation which will force them to shut down their companies.
Since shutting down the businesses is not the goal of the Montenegrin government, Vending Operators expect the government to follow comparative examples from Hungary and Romania, in which costs of fiscalization of self-service machines were fully borne by the state.
Content
The representatives of this economic activity, from the first indications of the planned electronic fiscalization, showed a proactive approach and desire for cooperation with state bodies in order to implement such a system, but without pronounced negative effects on business and survival of their companies.
The specificity of this activity is reflected in the fact that each self-service vending machine is fiscalized as an individual POS, which means that the projected costs are extremely high.
